Thank you, Louise. The unfortunate consequence for me is that I am now frequently questioning, yes maybe even doubting, my dreams. Which are my own, which are not? Do we ever have our own dreams? They must come from somewhere. For now, I think the path for me is to listen to my intuition, to do what feels right, never being dogmatic but keeping an open mind and an open heart.
Thank you, Marie! 🥹 This was a hard one to write, and therapeutic at the same time. I think the next ones will be less emotional and deep, but also more joyful. Finding out what I truly want to write about (probably whatever inspired me this day... 😄).
Ulrich, it was great spending time with you in New Orleans! Tina and I made it safely to the airport, through our layover in Dallas, and arrived at home in San Diego before midnight. Right now, I'm brewing a hazy IPA as I read your articles. Maybe our paths will cross again some day. Take care and cheers! Chris
Chris, I enjoyed our time very much. Nice to hear you got home safely and went straight back to brewing. I'd love to taste the hazy IPA, but probably won't make it anytime soon. I just met someone from San Francisco on my next trip, though, so it looks like I'll have to focus on the west coast sometime in the near future.
Wunderbar.
This was a great read, Ulrich! Thanks for showing us so clearly what happens if we follow dreams that might not really be our own.

Wow, that's such a powerful inquiry! I love this: "Do we ever have our own dreams? They must come from somewhere."
Like you, I also find it helpful to listen to my intuition and trying to remain open.
Thanks. It seems that the more we think about life, the more confusing it becomes.
Wauw, what an article. So raw and real, thank you for this, very inspiring Ulrich!
